What do people think of our adventure expeditions?

It has been a great year at Pride Expeditions. We have been very active this year and have been receiving some fantastic reviews from our expeditions and work in the UK. We get both google reviews and trip advisor reviews for Pride Expeditions. We really appreciate it when our teams take the time to write a review.

Here are some of reviews of our LGBTQ adventure holidays taken from our trip advisor page. Check us out on Trip Advisor for more!

David took part in our Machu Picchu and Amazon Rainforest tour in Peru in November 2024, He came as a solo traveler and new nobody else on the trip beforehand. He met the group in Cuzco in November and they spent two weeks together in remotest Peru.

There was a perfect balance of exploring and downtime to really get to know your fellow team members. It was a once in a lifetime trip and highly recommended for both solo travelers groups and couples… all felt super welcome. Go for it!!

The things that are important to a Pride Expedition are

  • You should explore a remote area and get off the beaten track into the wilderness

  • You should find it challenging and adventurous

  • You should feel comfortable being yourself regardless of sexuality or gender identity

  • You should feel welcome and safe to travel as part of a group you may not know

Nepal always has rave reviews especially thanks to our local guide and rafting specialist Hari and his team…

I went on Pride Expedition’s ‘Explore Nepal’ trip. Nick and his team were just great. They went out of their way to ensure we were well supported throughout our time in Nepal. Using local guides, the wonderful Hari particularly, allowed us to see a Nepal that I imagine few tourists see. The trek was superbly planned, starting just a short journey from Kathmandu. The gentle ascent in altitude, through ever-changing terrain and scenery, allowed us time to acclimatise well. Safety and our wellbeing were always prioritised. The views of the mountains were incredible, the next even better than the last. But that seems to be Nepal: there is always something amazing around the corner! The Nepalese people arising from many different cultures are well known for friendliness and we certainly enjoyed their hospitality as well as the warmth and care of our local teams.

What about group dynamics? Couples, solo travelers, small groups of friends and walking clubs take part in our expeditions. We are often asked what it is like being with theses groups. Here are some quotes from folks who took part this year -

It just felt effortless being there with that group of people.

I felt 100% welcome.

I loved connecting with new people ♥️

Being in an all queer group was great. I felt a sense of belonging.
