Let's get back to it!

It has been a very tough couple of years for everyone including many of the guides, porters and tour operators who we work with from Tanzania, to Nepal, to Malaysia to Peru. Nobody has escaped unscathed from this awful pandemic. Finally it feels like there is light emerging at the end of a long, dark, isolating and depressing tunnel.

We are here to help reunite you with your travel dreams with our LGBTQ welcoming adventure travel expeditions and Snowdonia adventure days.

Of the multiple expeditions we have had to postpone over the past two years Morocco stands out starkly. We are aware that sadly some of our customers booked to go to Morocco in early 2019 and are still waiting for their trip to happen. A big Thank you for all your patience.

Thankfully Morocco has finally opened to tourism and this trip will take place in April from the 23rd -30th. There are still a few places available if anyone fancies a last minute getaway.

Trek for five days through Berber villages of the High Atlas mountains this April on our Toubkal Trek

We have also planned some short European expeditions this Summer as Europe opens up to travellers once again. This time, hopefully for good! We will fully inform you of all the travel requirements for your destination and support you to fulfil any testing needed for the expedition. Also, of course we will as always, offer a refund or another trip if Covid travel restrictions raise their ugly head again meaning your trip is cancelled.

We are revisiting the Laugavegur Trail in the isolated Fjallabak nature reserve in central Iceland. This trek coincides with Reykjavik Pride for an unforgettable Icelandic experience this August. From the 31st July to the 7th August meeting in Reykjavik.

World renowned for its colourful volcanic landscapes and its rugged natural beauty the Landmannalaugar to Thorsmork trek is one of the top treks on the globe

A new trip for 2022 is our week long Polish Tatra trek that includes a day exploring Krakow and a traverse of the stunning and exposed Eagles Path in the High Tatra near Zakopane. The cost of this expedition is only £850 including all accommodation, transport and local guides. This is on the 20th - 27th August this year.

Take a look at our website for the opportunities for LGBTQ friendly adventure travel in 2022. We have lots planned. We are also organising mountaineering and climbing courses and qualifications in Snowdonia. Something we started in 2020 to keep us going whilst our overseas trips were on hold. If there is something involving LGBTQ adventure travel or climbing, mountaineering and hill walking please contact us at Nick@pridexpeditions.co.uk
