Climb the highest peak in Africa in 2019
After 100% success rate on Kilimanjaro in February this year we are keen to return again next year. We have been working hard to make improvements and adjustments to the itinerary to make an awesome experience for all. We have teamed up with new safari suppliers who support the LGBT friendly ethos of Pride Expeditions and are also working towards equality for Women in Tanzania.
In 2019 and beyond we will be working with Martriarch Hill Safaris to offer a unique safari experience once you have completed your Kilimanjaro climb. This will be a tent based safari where you will be staying inside the National Park in Ang'ata camps that offer the highest quality accommodation that you can expect from a mobile tented camp. Don't walk too far away from the tents as there are plenty of animals waiting for the next snack to come along!
We were very impressed with the Lemosho Glades as a quieter more gradual approach up the mountain that gives people a chance to enjoy the trek and get to know each other before the challenging summit day on the 6th day of the trek. We are also very happy with the excellent support and logistics provided by our Tanzanian guides and we will be working with them again in the future.
February is a great time of year to go to Tanzania as the weather is stable giving great views from the summit of Kilimanjaro but it's also a great time for a safari in the most iconic national parks of Tanzania. We are in the process of filling up places for 2019 so join us!
