Our last all gay walking holiday to Kilimanjaro was as a novel Coronavirus was emerging on the shores of Europe. February 2020 seems like a lifetime ago with all we have been through. It has been a long while since we have been on the mountain. During the pandemic our guides and porters in Tanzania went without work for almost eighteen months. It was a very tough time for them but now they are back climbing Kilimanjaro once again. Supporting their extended families with their wages from mountaineering and trekking activities on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

Pride Expeditions have adjusted our itineraries for Mount Kilimanjaro in order to get the best value prices. We now offer the 7-day Machame Route instead of the slightly longer Lemosho Glades trek.

We still think it is very important to include a safari in Tanzania in your trip. Especially as you have travelled a long way to one of the best safari destinations in East Africa. Therefore we have still included a slightly shorter safari to Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara. Our new itinerary is online and the trip is ready to book. Remember when comparing prices not all people will include a safari.
